Finally, after a long time, somebody is creating a realy good game for Amiga.As interesting as the game itself is the fact that the game is created by a Croatian man from Zagreb that responds to the name Tomislav Novosel (aka Condor). He is a very good friend of mine with a neverending obsession for Amiga so I really hope this game will lead him to achieving what he desires most - Amiga One. Now here's something about the creator and the game itself. You probably remember legendary Myst?! This game is similar to Myst but it brings more advanced graphics and optimization. The name of the game is "Just like a dream". It will cheer up all users that still use classic Amiga with 030/040 CPU cards. The only flaw I noticed so far is that there is no GFX card support which means that you have to use good old AGA (support for the GFX cards is probably on it's way). The game begins with a nice intro which works perfectly even on 030 cards. At this point there is only an english version of the game.

" Just like a dream" My dearest son; Now that you are 21, comes the moment when I have to finally tell you something that me and your father had kept secret from you for all those years. It is very important for your future to understand that you are not our only child, when you came to this world, you came with your twin brother. At that time we lived in a small but very lively village, Shadow Hill. We were living in a big house on top of the small hill at the end of the village. One day while your father was at work, I was at home alone with you and your twin brother Paul. As I went outside to work in the garden, something terrible happend. I saw an amazingly bright light shinning from the house. As I ran towards the house I thought it was fire, but when I got closer no flames where there. Out of my breath, I stumbled into the house and my eyes opened in horror, starring at the strange creature holding your brother. I was paralyzed, I wanted so much to reach out and hold your brother. Then there was just dark all around me. I woke up lying in the middle of the room. Your brother was gone.

Your father was the only one who believed my story. A year later we moved away. Years went by, the village was deserted, everybody left. But every year, on that day, we come back to the empty old house hoping for a miracle to happen, hoping to find your brother. Years passed by the hope remains. Hope dies last. After your father died, I had to write this letter to you so the secret will be revealed and the hope will live on. Ever since you told me about your dream, I feel that there is an eternal connection between you and your brother. A connection that could never be broken. You have to keep the hope alive. You have to find out. Remember your dream. Maybe it had to be this way...just like a dream...

This is it for now, and I belive you just can't wait to play the game. I know what are you thinking now "Who knows when this game will be finshed....", because in Amiga's world the games mainly remain unfinished. But listen here, this week I tested the DEMO of the game and it was GREAT! As I hear, shortly there will also be a playable demo on the net for download!

Little something about system requirements. You can play the game on A 1200/4000 AGA, 030 or better, 16 MB RAM and HD,CDROM,OS 3.1/3.9!
Yes I know, it is hard to belive that it will work even on accelerated A1200. Some technical information: 640x512, 262144 col.(HAM8) 4x4 CHANNELS MIXED ( 16 MAX) FULL SCREEN MIXED IN LOW/HI RES
